awardshub.com was established in 2011 by multi award-winning business woman Yvette Adams.

Born and bred in New Zealand, Yvette lived in the UK for seven years working in mainly media, PR & marketing roles before settling in Australia in 2004.

Yvette ran her first business awards event at just 18 years of age – the National Sports Journalism Awards in New Zealand – turning them from a moribund affair into a highly anticipated and prestigious event over a three year period.

She recognised the value of applying for Government grants and entering business awards herself when she started her second business – an online tee-shirt business in 2002. Within just a few months of starting the business she received a Government grant and won a global website award.

She started her third business The Creative Collective from the study nook of her home after her second child was born in 2007, and within six months won the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award at the Queensland Small Business Champions Awards. A year later, she won the Specialised Small Business Award at the same awards.

In 2008 she was a finalist in the Asian Entrepreneur category of the Stevie Awards for Women in Business presented in New York. She is now the Regional Coordinator for these awards, responsible for promoting them in Australia and New Zealand.

In 2010 she won the Commonwealth Bank Business Owner of the Year category at the Telstra Business Women’s Awards, the Creative & Knowledge Based Industries Award at the Sunshine Coast Excellence in Business Awards against 25 other finalists in the most highly contested category at the awards, and the Best Home Based Business at the Marketing & Communications Executives International Awards. She has since gone on to win the Commonwealth Business Owner of the Year at the Telstra Business Women’s Awards in 2010 (Queensland) against a field of 4200 applicants, the Entrepreneurial Award and the Employer of Choice at the Women in Technology Awards in 2012 and the ICT (Information Communications Technology) Woman of the Year at the prestigious iAwards in August 2013.

Her company’s The Creative Collective and The Training Collective have also won numerous awards.
